COLOR MAPS OF TENNESSEE
WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREAS

Tennessee hunters are now able to purchase colored maps of some of the most popular Wildlife Management Areas in the state including newly added maps of Reelfoot, Tigrett, Gooch's and other local areas.

The maps have been produced by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. Maps vary in size from 8.5" X 11" to 22" X 34" depending on the size of the WMA.

The people in TWRA's Geographic Information Systems Division have done an outstanding job creating color maps that I expect will be very popular once our hunters learn about them," said Duval. "The Foundation is going to be handling the sale of the maps for TWRA."

*Note - these are color maps and provide a good overview of location, layout of the area, etc. But, they are not extremely detailed and do not provide contours of land or water. They are especially useful for hunters learning the layouts of some of Tennessee's best hunting areas.

For now, order forms can be obtained by calling the Foundation at (615) 831- 3480 or by printing and filling out this form (pdf format). Checks or money orders must be sent to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation (or TWRF) at P.O. Box 110031, Nashville, TN 37222.

Available maps (more are being created) and costs include: AEDC ($6), Bark Camp Barrens ($1.25), Bridgestone/Firestone ($4), Buffalo Springs ($1.25), Catoosa ($6), Cheatham ($6), Chuck Swan ($6), Cove Creek ($1.25), Cumberland Springs ($1.25), Duck River ($4), Ernest Rice, Sr. ($1.25), Fall Creek Falls ($4), Foothills ($4), Haynes Bottom ($1.25), Kyker Bottoms ($1.25), Laurel Hill ($4), Moss Island ($1.25), Natchez Trace ($6), Normandy ($1.25), Obion River & Gooch ($4), Prentice Cooper ($4), Reelfoot ($4), Royal Blue ($6), Tellico Lake ($4), Tigrett ($4), Williamsport ($1.25), and Wolf River ($1.25). The cost includes shipping and handling.
