		Reelfoot Lake Fishing Report March 12, 2018 ALL SIGNS SAY SPRING IS FAST APPROACHING Jackie Wayne's back with a March fishing report. For the record spring doesn’t officially begin until March 20th...trees are budding...butter cups are blooming... Time to go fishing!!! Water temp is in the 40 to 50 degree range...lake level is 20"above pool. Crappie...are being caught at lower Blue Basin on minnows / jigs in about 8 to15' water fishing..."real slow". Bass...are being caught in shallow water on jigs, worms, and jerk baits around blinds, stumps, and floating roots. Bluegill...slow at this time but some are being caught in the ditches on jigs tip with wax worms. Catfish...good in the ditches on night crawlers Fishing on bottom.
