For thirty four years Reelfoot has been home to one of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the mid-south and this year is no different. Nearly 350 exhibitors will be displaying their wares and over 41,000 people from many different states are expected to attend. Exhibitors will be located in the Ellington Assembly Hall, Armory Building and the American Legion building, as well as the outside area surrounding them. Items for sale include handmade willow furniture, pottery, native american crafts, candles, ceramics, flower arrangements, metal works, clothing, various wood crafts and a large selection of handmade jewelry. Just to name a few. Plenty of great southern foods will also be available from local churches and vendors. And of course, the local restaurants around Reelfoot provide traditional fare that brings people from miles around already. Be warned that lodging is at a premium. So make your reservations now. For a list of some of the best places to stay on the lake, visit our Resorts and Lodging page. For more information contact Anna Crocker at 731-885-7295 or visit their website: www.reelfootartsandcrafts.com The Arts and Crafts Festival is always held on the first weekend of October (Fri, Sat, and Sun). |
