Report for May 18th, 2001 Bream
(bluegill) - bluegill have slowed somewhat, but there are still some
good catches to be had, especially in the upper blue basin. Crickets are
the top bait, fishing 1 foot deep in 1 1/2 feet of water. Stripes
- Stripe fishing is finally starting to pick up. Fishing pin minnows
about 10 inches off the bottom in 6 foot of water is working well. Pin
minnows can be purchased at Bo's Landing and the Spillway Bait Shop. Bass Fishing - Bass Fishing is good early and late in the day. White spinnerbaits and black and blue worms are working good. Also, try buzzbaits in the middle of the day when it's cloudy. Click
