The Reelfoot Lake Waterfowl Festival is held at Kirby's Pocket on the east side of the lake, just north of Samburg. There will also be a variety of outdoor exhibitions to tempt any sportsman, including The Grand American Duck and Goose Calling Championships.
The Grand American Duck and Goose Calling Championship will feature: Winners of the Grand American Duck Calling Championship will be eligible to compete in the World's Duck Calling Championship in Stuttgart, AR. Winners of the Grand American Goose Calling Championship will be eligible for the World's Goose Calling Championship in Easton, MD. Contests begin at 10:00 am each day, with the Goose Calling held Saturday and the Duck Calling held Sunday. Last years event attracted 10,000 waterfowlers and outdoor enthusiasts. Come by and you'll see why. Exhibitors fee for an 8' x 10' space is $125.00. Only 100 spaces are available, so call now. It's hard to think of duck in the summer, but if
anything can get you fired up for this year's hunting, then the Reelfoot
Waterfowl Festival is it. The wide variety of duck calls alone, is
enough to get any ardent waterfowler thinking of cold winter days. Duck calls are available in all shapes, sizes and price ranges.

The exhibits will also include historical hunting displays, handcarved
decoys, waterfowl prints, retriever demonstrations, boats and various
outdoor clothing.
