TENNESSEE FREE FISHING DAY IS JUNE 7

Free Fishing Day will be held Saturday, June 7, 2008, in Tennessee, giving anyone who desires a chance to try this great outdoor sport without buying a fishing license. This year, youngsters ages 13 to 15 may also fish without a license beginning on Free Fishing Day and running through the following Friday (June 13).

Free Fishing Day is designed to introduce new anglers, especially children, to Tennessee’s most popular form of outdoor recreation. Tennessee is blessed with an abundance of public waters, so on Saturday, June 9, take advantage of this opportunity to introduce yourself and your family to the joys and excitement of a day on the water catching fish.
