Reelfoot Lake was formed by a series of earthquakes in 1811-1812. The
quake flooded thousands of acres of timber and many of those trees
(Stumps) are still there today. This abundance of stumps is what makes
Reelfoot Lake the most fertile lake in Tennessee. However, this abundance
of structure also makes it a little challenging to find the right stumps
to catch fish off of. As any fisherman knows, they don't all hold fish.
Give Stump Water a call to book your trip and fish the stumps that hold
fish.

Stump Water offers guided fishing trips for Crappie, Bluegill and Catfish.
Their friendly and helpful guides will not only help you catch fish, but
help you learn the tricks of Reelfoot Lake. All bait and gear are
included.
Catfish trips are at night with both
yo-yo fishing and jug fishing available. Catfish are the most
underutilized species on the lake. Come give them a try with experienced
guides. It's a trip you won't soon forget.
