The 8th annual Sportsman's Banquet at Central Baptist Church in Martin will be Sat. Feb 21 @ 5pm.

 Tim Farmer host of Kentucky Afield and Tim Farmer's Country Kitchen will be speaking and will also be signing autographs.

The event is free to attend but you must go by the church at 801 Harrison Rd. in martin to pick up your tickets.

The tickets are limited and they are first come first serve, we do have a limit of 5 tickets per family.

 Full buffet meal will be provided including crappie, catfish, duck, goose, beaver, deer, coon, BBQ, bbq chicken, hamburgers, hotdogs, and much more including all the trimmings with homemade desserts too.

Grand prizes include a Glock pistol, a YETI cooler, and a Youth model 870 shotgun.

TIM FARMER

Tim Farmer is the host of “Tim Farmer’s Country Kitchen” and also “Kentucky Afield” which is in its 60th year. 

 Tim recently started his own Production Company.    This lead Tim to start his new show called “Tim Farmer’s Country Kitchen” which, is now in its 2nd year.   This new program showcases gardening, canning and his ability to cook!!

 Tim has won several local and national broadcasting awards along with 5 Emmy’s for his Hosting and Production work. 

Tim is dedicated to documenting traditional food preparation.  He travels the state visiting folks that have a passion to share recipes, along with sharing his own secrets.  Whether it is Grandma’s fried apple pie, an old fashioned hog killing, or simply cooking up some new grub you’ve never tried before, he wants you to feel at home in “Tim Farmer’s Country Kitchen.”
