reelfoot lake fishing report

Reelfoot Lake Fishing Report
             March  12, 2017

     WELCOME TO MARCH MADNESS
THUNDERSTORMS FOLLOWED BY BRISK COLD FRONTS

Jackie Wayne's Back...Well I'am back with a fishing report and it's still good. Less talk about the lake...it's in good shape.

Water temp is in the upper 50s-60 depending on depth....lake level is above pool.

Crappie...are in the lower blue basin and upper blue basin. Their biting minnows and jigs...but the jigs do better tip with wax worms...best way is to fish slow when using minnows with double hook rigs.

Bass...are biting on top water baits, spinner baits, and jerk baits. Fish around shallow stumps, duck holes, duck blinds, and trees.

Bluegill...are biting jigs tip with wax worms around pads, trees, and shore lines in 3 to 5 feet of water.

Catfish...are also slow

 Be safe...have fun fishing...take a kid.

 God Bless to all

Thanks Jackie Wayne!
