reelfoot lake fishing report

Reelfoot Lake Fishing Report for:
November 9, 2013

FALL BITE STILL GOOD FOR CRAPPIE AND CATFISH

Jackie Wayne with another fishing report.

Lake level is at pool and a little above at this time. Crappie fishing is good with jigs tipped with minnows, wax worms, or nibblets in shallow water around trees and mule foot pads. Strike King tubes are real good in shallow water. Black and chartreuse, pumpkin seed, red and white colors while deep water fishing with minnows.  Jig tubes by Strike King tipped with minnows are great in 8' to 10' of water. Bass Fishing is slow at this time. Some are being caught around mule foot pads or Duck weed using spoons or spinner baits. Catfish are good in around the trees in 3' to 6' of water with worms. Bluegill are real slow. Yellow Bass are doing good this year. We are covered up with gray ducks, teal, shovels and mallards so be sure to call your guides and get rooms now. If you need me for hunting or fishing call me on my cell at 731-431-9700 or home 732-538-2547
