REELFOOT LAKE EAGLE TOURS
January 18th, 2007

   The Eagles are Soaring! Make your Eagle Tour reservations now for the 2007 season!!!

   Beginning January 2nd, 2007 and continuing into March, the Reelfoot Lake State Park provides two-hour bus tours to observe bald eagles and other waterfowl.

   Tours are offered at 10:00 a.m. daily with additional tours on weekends. Buses leave from the Airpark Inn. Reservations are required for tours and there is a moderate charge per person.

   Special groups (schools, scouts, clubs, etc.) should make reservations two to three weeks in advance. Groups should also consider providing their own transportation. all tours will involve some exposure to the elements, so please dress warmly. Bring your field glasses and cameras for added enjoyment.

   There are also programs each weekend in January and February. These include:

   Friday at 7:00 p.m. - "An introduction to Reelfoot Lake" slide program".

   Saturday at 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. - Two hour bald eagle and waterfowl tour departs from the Airpark Inn.

   Saturday at 7:00 p.m. - Airpark Inn Lounge. Program by guest speaker...click here for a list of speakers.

   Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. - Two hour bald eagle and waterfowl tour departs from the Airpark Inn.

   Saturday and Sunday afternoons - Special wildlife programs will be offered in the Visitor Center.
