DEADLINE FOR PERMANENT DUCK BLIND REGISTRATION ON REELFOOT LAKE WMA IS JULY 31

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) would like to remind holders of permanent registered blind sites at Reelfoot Lake Wildlife Management Area (WMA) that now is the time to register their blind.
Jeff Martin, Reelfoot Lake WMA Area Manager said, “TWRA rules and regulations require that people with permanent registered blind sites register them with TWRA by the end of July. They can do this by going to any license agent and purchasing a Type 25 (Personally Assigned Reelfoot Waterfowl Blind Permit). Once they have purchased this permit, they must mail a copy to TWRA Sales Office, P.O. Box 41729, Nashville, TN 37204.”

“I cannot stress the importance of making this registration deadline,” said Martin. “If they do not follow this procedure, they have not registered their blind and are subject to lose their site.”

If blind registrants have questions or need further information please contact the Reelfoot Lake WMA Office at 731-253-7343 or TWRA Sales Office at 615-781-6585.
