Owl Hoot Outfitters is a guide service that hunts privately
owned land only. Yes, we do own the land that you will be hunting
and have owned it for 50 years or so. Throughout your hunt you will
be catered to starting with the trip through the field and into the
pit. We encourage you to participate in all activities associated
with the hunt; but you are required to do nothing. You will enjoy
plenty of good old fashion hunting foods throughout your hunt. We
offer 2 separate hunting locations.
 (1) OWL HOOT: This 300 acre field is one
that I have enjoyed hunting for 17 years and it consistently kills
birds year in and year out. Yes, some years are better than others
and some days go by without firing many shots, but it's a heck of a
spot. This field is located 7 miles south of Reelfoot Lake, 5 miles
South of Lake Isom Federal Refuge, 2 miles East of the Mississippi
River and 2 miles North of Whites Lake refuge. This field is located
right in the middle of everything West Tennessee has to offer and
you will see plenty of traffic as far as the ducks go. Here you will
be hunting in 30-40 acres of standing corn in a field that is 300
acres; there will be approximately 200 acres of water here.
(2) LAKE # 9: is a field recently
acquired. This 270 acre field is located 3 miles north of Reelfoot
Lake, 3/4 mile East of the Mississippi River, 1.5 miles West of Long
Point refuge and 4 miles North East of and Black Bayou Refuge. This
field was purchased for the purpose of adding an additional hunting
location to this great tract of land. We expect that this will prove
to be a good decision for the next 50 years.
 Are
you beginning to see some patters emerging?
(1) The Mississippi River our Nations largest river is a natural
flyway for ducks
(2) The local refuges that we are located close to are what
actually holds the waterfowl here for the entire season.
(3) Reelfoot Lake which is known to be a good hunting area.
You see I am an avid duck hunter who simply has
a good hunting spot or 2 and decided to allow you the opportunity to
have an enjoyable hunt by providing a guide service. I look forward
