reelfoot lake fishing report

Reelfoot Lake Fishing Report for:
November 21st, 2003

Not really much to say this week, except the crappie are biting good when the wind ain't blowing hard. Jackie had a good day earlier this week fishing 10 feet deep in 12 foot of water with minnows. Should still be some good fishing if the weather allows.

They've also been catching a few crappie and small bluegill fishing jigs in the ditches.

All other species are slow or we're not getting any reports.

Lake level has come up to about 3 inches above pool level. Water temps are right around 60.

It's about duck hunting season now anyhow. Ducks have really been coming in for the last few weeks. Lot of em have left the lake since recent rains flooded the fields. But the flood water is dropping out and they should be back in good numbers for opening day.

We'll post more fishing news when we get it.

   Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone!
