reelfoot lake fishing report

Reelfoot Lake Fishing Report for:
June 28th, 2002

As mentioned last week, Jackie is gone on vacation. So, the regular fishing report will not be posted this week.

However, we have gotten a few reports from area resorts and local fishermen and it really hasn't been very good.

Catfishing remains good from what we've heard. They are being caught both shallow and deep. Should be moving deeper in the next few weeks.

Bluegill fishing has been fair, but spotty. A few good catches were reported, then a few bad days were reported. Don't know which one is the norm.

There were a couple of good reports on the bass fishing from this past weekend.

No reports on crappie or yellow bass.

Keep in mind that these reports are coming from very limited information, as the hot weather has kept the number of fishermen down somewhat. Sorry that this doesn't give you a lot to go on. But, I guess every little bit helps.

Jackie's regular report will resume next week.
