The folks at Eagle Nest Resort have been bringing in some nice catches lately. Here are a few of their recent catches just to get you fired up.

The bass fishing at Reelfoot is too often overlooked in favor of crappie and bluegill. This picture of Eagle Nest Resort guide Mike Terry shows just what you're missing. Last Saturday (March 12th) Mike caught over 20 largemouth while slow rolling a spinnerbait around cypress trees. Just in case you're wondering, he used a 3/8 oz. Mann's spinnerbait in white and chartreuse with double colorado blades. Largest fish weighed in at 5 lbs. 3 oz..

Mike has been fishing Reelfoot for 20 years and knows how to bass fish this lake. We're not saying that catches like this are an every day occurrence. But, if you like bass fishing, you really need to give it a try on Reelfoot. Here are some more great catches from last week:
