Report for: February 22nd, 2002

The crappie fishing has finally slowed for a while as high winds dominate the fishing on the main lake. Not many people getting out there, so not many reports to go by, but it has been slower  from what we can find out. Cold weather at the beginning of the week could keep it that way for the next few days.

We did finally get a few bass fishing reports and they were good, but the weather could put a hold on that also. Can't tell you much more than that as the reports were kind of second hand info.

We go through the warmest winter in years and then deal with colder weather in late February, go figure. All we need is a few good warm days in a row and things should pick up in a hurry.

Our regular weekly fishing reports will hopefully start again next week. If there's anything to report.
